Q: How To Judge If The Bearing Is Running In The Outer Ring?

A: Creep: creep refers to the relative sliding between the mating surfaces when there is a gap between the mating surfaces of the bearing. The fit surface with creep shows mirror bright or dark surface, and sometimes has stuck wear.

Creep is commonly known as the outer ring, inner ring, inner circle, outer circle, inner edge, outer edge, skidding, even shaft son turn, etc.

Cause: insufficient interference or clearance fit, and insufficient fastening of the set sleeve.

Countermeasures:

check interference and implement anti-rotation measures (deep groove ball bearing, cylindrical roller cylindrical bore bearing, if four-angle contact bearing, one-way bearing, overrunning clutch using inner and outer ring with keyway)

appropriate tightening set set. (centering ball, centering roller, outer spherical bearing with seat, etc.)

study the accuracy of shaft and bearing box. (components of bearing in bearing box)
