This is an indirect detection method for abnormal sound. Also, there are qualitative detection methods and quantitative parameter detection methods. Among them, there are two types of qualitative detection methods: monitoring abnormal sound and observing vibration waveform. The quantitative parameter detection method refers to the measured parameter value related to abnormal sound in the tested bearing vibration signal. For example, the peak value of vibration, crest factor to evaluate the abnormal sound of the bearing.
Keep the original packaging, do not open arbitrarily. However, if you found the packaging has damage, you must open and clean carefully, and re-oil the packaging.
The relative humidity of the storage room cannot exceed 60%. Also, the temperature difference should not be too large, and the bearings in the original packaging can be stored for several years. Sealed bearings or bearings with dust covers, after long-term storage, may reduce the lubrication characteristics of the grease-filled in the bearings.
You should also protect the storage room from vibration and shaking. Furthermore, you must store bearings without the original packaging properly. It is strictly forbidden to put the bearing together with corrosive things to prevent corrosion and pollution.
It is best to store large rolling bearings flat. You must ensure that all sides of the inner and outer rings have support. If you store bearing upright, the inner and outer rings and rolling parts are heavier. And the inner and outer ring walls are relatively thin, which may cause permanent deformation.
